The company moved its headquarters to El Conde Street #15. Represented passenger ships on transatlantic voyages. Faced with the economic recession of the last years because of the Trujillo dictatorship, John W. Tatem decided to sell the company to Víctor Rannik and Ramón Báez Romano.

The same year, Juan Periche Vidal a well-known person in the maritime field joined the company as Head of Maritime Operations.
